Chester Netball Juniors

Helping Girls Thrive in Team Sports

Chester Netball Club have a large and thriving Junior Section. We welcome athletes of all abilities to take part and enjoy netball. We even have options for girls as young as 4!

Throughout the season, Chester coaches will be working with players in the Junior section in their normal training sessions with additional specialised workshops that will take place on a regular basis to help to develop our young athletes.

CNC are committed to developing the right programmes and the correct level of coaching, training, and challenge to ensure that our young netballers achieve their potential. Our teams in the Junior section compete in local leagues, regional leagues, and national competitions.

Our Core Values

We believe in inspiring our netballers to make positive change. That’s why everyone from parent to umpire is expected to hold our core values of:

Teamwork. Respect. Enjoyment. Discipline. Sportsmanship.

As part of our core values, we encourage every person at CNC to:

  • Play to win – but not at all cost.
  • Win with dignity, lose with grace.
  • Observe the rules and regulations of the game.
  • Respect opponents, umpires, and all participants.
  • Reject cheating, racism, and violence.
  • Value volunteers and paid officials alike.
  • Enjoy the game.

Our Training Groups

Girls as young as 4 years old attend these fun filled sessions where the emphasis is on enjoyment and learning some of the basic skills of netball and team sports.
